Viktor Tsygankov can continue his career in the Greek championship. Olympiakos, which is actively working on strengthening the flanks before the start of the new season, joined the number of candidates for the Ukrainian midfielder of Girona.
According to Sportdog.gr, the club from Piraeus has been following the performances of the Ukrainian for a long time. Interest in Tsygankov has persisted since his time playing for Dynamo Kyiv, and now Olympiakos has decided to move on to more specific actions.
It is reported that representatives of the Greek club have already contacted Girona to find out the terms of a possible transfer and the financial requirements of the Catalan club. Preliminary contacts were also made with the football player's entourage regarding his plans for the future.
Competition for signing the Ukrainian winger remains high. Previously, Betis, Espanyol, Villarreal and Trabzonspor were interested in Tsygankov, who continues to work actively in the Ukrainian transfer market.
The current agreement of the 28-year-old football player with Girona runs until the summer of 2027. At the same time, Dynamo Kyiv retains the right to 50 percent of the profit from the next sale of its former player, which can become an important factor in the event of a major transfer.
