Undav repeated another achievement at the 2026 World Cup

The German national team in the match of the second round of the group stage of the World Cup-2026 over Ivory Coast (2:1).
In this match, German forward Deniz Undav scored a double. Before that, he scored against Curacao (7:1) in the first round.
This made Undav the fourth player in World Cup history to score in each of his first two matches at the tournament, coming on as a substitute both times.
Before him, Ricardo Pelaez (1998), Memphis Depay (2014) and Alvaro Morata (2022) could boast of such an achievement.
Undav also became the first player to score in both opening matches for Germany at the World Cup since Miroslav Klose in 2002.
