Carpathians officially signed Vantukh

Lviv Carpathians officially announced the signing of defender Roman Vantukh. The 27-year-old football player joined the Lions as a free agent and signed a three-year contract with the club.
Vantukh's last club was Luhansk Zorya, whose colors he defended from 2022. In the 2025/26 season, the defender played 23 matches in all competitions, scoring five goals and three assists.
For the Carpathians, this is already the second summer reinforcement. Previously, the Lviv club about the transfer of goalkeeper Denys Marchenko.
At the same time, the off-season for the "green and white" is accompanied by significant personnel changes. Goalkeeper Andriy Klischuk, defender Volodymyr Adamyuk and striker Ihor Neves left the team. Goalkeeper Nazar Domchak will continue his career in Slavia Prague, Oleksandr Kemkin's contract was bought by Kryvbas, and forward Bubakar Faal became a player of Viktoria Plzeň.
The Carpathians started preparing for the new season on June 22. After working at the club base, Fran Fernandez's team will go on a training camp to Slovenia, which will last until July 19. As part of the offseason, the Lviv team plans to hold eight control matches.
According to the results of the last season, Carpathians took ninth place in the UPL standings, and also finished their performances in the Cup of Ukraine at the 1/16 final stage.
