Bournemouth are not going to sell Scott despite interest from Arsenal and Manchester United

Bournemouth have no intention of parting ways with midfielder Alex Scott in the summer transfer window, despite serious interest from the English Premier League's top clubs. This was reported by insider sources journalist David Ornshtein. Earlier in the English media there was information that the 22-year-old midfielder could be available for about 60 million pounds. Among the suitors for the footballer were Arsenal and Manchester United, who are closely monitoring the progress of one of the most promising English midfielders. However, according to the source, Bournemouth's position remains unchanged. The club's management is keen to keep Scott for at least the first season of new head coach Marco Rose and is not considering selling options even in the face of extremely lucrative offers. "His candidacy has been discussed in Arsenal, Manchester United and, no doubt, in other clubs. But the problem is that Bournemouth has no intention of selling him. This is exactly the position voiced in the club. Even if an astronomical offer comes, they are determined to keep the player at least for the first season under the leadership of Marco Rose," Ornstein said in the Insider Sources FC podcast. At the same time, the journalist drew attention to the contract situation of the football player. Scott's current deal is gradually coming to an end (summer 2028), so Bournemouth are interested in extending it. However, the player himself may not be in a hurry to sign a new contract if there is an opportunity to move to one of the European giants in the future.
