Ukrainian midfielder Lytvynenko became a Zhalgiris player

Lithuanian Zalgiris officially announced the signing of Ukrainian midfielder Ivan Litvinenko. The press service of the club informed about the transfer. The 25-year-old midfielder successfully passed a medical examination and signed a contract for one and a half years. The agreement also provides for the possibility of extending cooperation for one more season. For Lytvynenko, this will be a new stage in his career after playing for Kharkiv (previously Metalist 1925). He joined the team in August 2024, and during this time he played 44 official matches, in which he scored three goals. In Zhalgiris, the Ukrainian will not be the only representative of his country. Earlier, the Lithuanian club was joined by striker Stanislav Bilenkyi, so now two Ukrainian footballers will play in the team.
