The national team of Ukraine announced the application for the Euro-2026 U-19 final tournament

The head coach of the youth national team of Ukraine, Dmytro Mykhaylenko, announced the list of 20 football players who will go to the final part of Euro-2026 (U-19), which will be held from June 28 to July 11 in Wales. The application included two goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders and three attackers. Goalkeepers: Nazar Domchak (Slavia Prague, Czech Republic), Nazar Makarenko (Alexandria). Defenders: Nikita Kalyuzhny (Shakhtar), Yaroslav Mylokost (Shakhtar), Dmytro Strilchuk (Shakhtar), Kyrylo Dygtyar (Metalist), Yehor Sherstyuk (Metalist), Danylo Malov (Olympia Ljubljana, Slovenia), Yuriy Kokodyniak (Karpaty), Kostyantyn Gubenko (Dynamo Kyiv). Midfielders: Oleksandr Soroka (Ghent, Belgium), Bohdan Olychenko (Bayern Munich, Germany), Konstantinos Plish (Olympiakos Piraeus, Greece), Pavlo Lyusin (Dynamo Kyiv), Serhii Ignatkov (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina), Patrick Sykut (Peterborough, England), Vitaly Glut (Chicago, USA). Forwards: Bohdan Popov (Empoli, Italy), Dmytro Bogdanov (Union Berlin, Germany), Oleksandr Kamenbroadcasteri (Kryvbas). At the group stage, the Ukrainian team will play in Quartet B. On June 29, the blue and yellow team will meet Croatia, on July 2 - with Serbia, and on July 5 they will play against Italy. The top two teams in the group will advance to the semi-finals and automatically qualify for the 2027 U-20 World Cup. Teams that finish third will get a chance to compete for another berth through a play-off for fifth place.
