Atalanta terminated the contract with Yurich

Atalanta officially announced the termination of the contract with former head coach Ivan Yurych. This was reported by the press service of the Italian club. The 50-year-old Croatian led the team from Bergamo from June to November 2025. After his release, he remained under contract with the club, but now the parties have agreed on an early termination of cooperation by mutual consent. According to sources, Yurich took this step because he is soon to lead Monza, which has returned to Serie A after a one-year break. During his coaching career, the Croatian also worked with Mantova, Crotone, Genoa, Verona, Torino, Roma and England's Southampton. It will be recalled that at the beginning of June, Atalanta also fired Yurich's successor, Raffaele Palladino. Maurizio Sarri became the new head coach of the team.
