Atletico are closing in on signing Kang-in Lee

PSG and South Korea attacking midfielder Lee Kang-in may soon become an Atletico player. Negotiations between the Madrid and Paris clubs are at the final stage. According to the available information of insider, Atletico reached an agreement with the footballer on the terms of a personal contract a few days ago. Now the parties have to agree on the details of the transfer between the clubs. Lee Kang-in joined PSG in the summer of 2023 from Mallorca for €22 million. In the 2025/26 season, the 25-year-old midfielder played 39 matches in all competitions, scoring four goals and five assists. The South Korean's current contract with the French club runs until the summer of 2028, and his transfer value, according to Transfermarkt, is 28 million euros.
