The Shakhtar defender will continue his career in Torpedo Kutaisi

Central defender of Shakhtar Luka Latsabidze is close to changing clubs. The Georgian football player will continue his career in Torpedo Kutaisi. According to journalist Rudy Galetti, the parties have already reached an agreement on the transition. At the same time, the format of the agreement is currently not disclosed - it is either a lease or a full transfer. Latsabidze spent the first part of the current season as part of Dynamo Tbilisi, where he took part in 16 matches. Later, the defender moved on loan to the Danish side Vejle, but never made his debut for the new team. The Georgian defender joined Shakhtar in the winter of 2024, but did not play official matches for the main team of the "miners". He also played on loan for Chornomorets, where he played 18 matches. Latsabidze is the captain of the Georgian U-21 youth team, and his contract with Shakhtar runs until the summer of 2028.
