The Atalanta defender moved to Rangers

0
At one time, Atalanta from Bergamo paid 12.5 million euros for English central defender Ben Godfrey to Everton in the summer of 2024. However, after half a year, the footballer went on loan to Ipswich, after which his story of wandering around other clubs began. Half a year at Sheffield United was replaced by a similar period at Denmark's Brondby during the previous campaign, after which the 28-year-old performer returned to Bergamo, but there he is not counted on either. Thus it was decided that Godfrey should go to another lease, but already with the right of redemption. Scottish Rangers agreed such terms with "Goddess", after which the parties entered into an agreement for a one-year lease and a further three-year contract in the event of a full transfer. During the season, Ben has 18 matches and one goal.
