Leeds have targeted Japan's main goalkeeper

Leeds are looking to strengthen their goalkeeping line and are preparing a formal offer to Parma for the transfer of goalkeeper Dzion Suzuki.
According to sources, the Italian club values the 22-year-old Japanese at 30 million euros. At the same time, Leeds has already prepared a contract for the goalkeeper until the summer of 2031.
However, the English club will have to withstand competition. Aston Villa are also showing interest in Suzuki, who are eyeing the Japanese as a potential replacement for Emiliano Martinez should he leave.
Suzuki made 22 appearances for Parma in all competitions last season, keeping six clean sheets. Due to a broken arm, he missed about three and a half months, but managed to fully recover before the 2026 World Cup, where he is the main goalkeeper of the Japanese national team.
It will be recalled that Leeds finished the last season of the English Premier League in 14th place, having scored 47 points.
