The club are convinced that Rodgers is worth more than his England team-mate Elliott Anderson, who is in the near future for £116m. According to the source, Rodgers' valuation is also affected by the future resale clause. Middlesbrough, who sold Rodgers in the winter of 2024, are entitled to 20% of the next transfer fee.
