Rotterdam Feyenoord announced the signing of Spanish striker Nacho Ferri. The 21-year-old forward joined from Belgian side Westerlo and signed a contract with the Dutch club until the summer of 2030. After completing the transfer, the football player did not hide his joy at the new stage in his career. "I'm looking forward to playing for Feyenoord. I've learned a lot in Belgium over the last two years and I feel it's time to step up and join a big club like Feyenoord," said Ferry. The striker also noted the ambitions of his new club and the team's future participation in the Champions League. "I know that Feyenoord has a rich history, but also big ambitions for the future. In addition, next season we will play in the Champions League. This is something that not only I, but also the whole team are looking forward to. I can't wait to get to know everyone and start working," the football player added. Ferri started his football career in his hometown of Montaverner in Spain. After playing for the youth teams of Ontignant and Alsira, he joined the Eintracht Frankfurt system in 2021. In Germany, the forward quickly announced himself with a productive game for the reserve team, and in September 2023 he made his debut for the main team of the club. In the summer of 2024, the striker moved on loan to the Belgian Kortrijk, where he received stable playing practice. After that, it was bought by Westerlo. Last season, the Spanish youth international spent a successful year as part of the Belgian team, scoring 11 goals and 4 assists. Ferry will wear the number 19 for Feyenoord during pre-season training, although the club say the final number allocation will be confirmed before the start of the new season.
