Brighton signed Strike

Brighton have officially announced the signing of centre-back Pascal Strake. The 26-year-old Dutch footballer moved from Leeds and signed a five-year contract. The amount of the transfer is not disclosed by the parties. Strake has been in the Leeds system since 2018 when he joined from Ajax's academy. He made his debut for the Whites' main team at the end of 2019 and played a total of 196 matches in all competitions. Together with Leeds, the defender was twice promoted to the Premier League from the Championship. Last season, he helped the team finish 14th in the Premier League and reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup. In addition, Strake has experience playing for the youth national teams of the Netherlands.
