Official: Inter extended the contract with Mkhitaryan

Inter Milan officially announced the extension of the contract with experienced central midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenian football player's new contract with the current champions of Italy will be valid until the summer of 2027. Under the terms of the new contract, the guaranteed salary of the 37-year-old midfielder will amount to 2 million euros per year, which also includes additional bonuses for team and individual sports achievements. The authoritative statistics portal Transfermarkt currently estimates the veteran's market value at 3 million euros. Henrikh Mkhitaryan joined Inter in the summer of 2022 from Roma. During his time as part of the Milan giants, he became a key player in the center of the field and won a number of prestigious trophies: Two Serie A championship titles; Two Italian Cups; Two Italian Super Cups. In total, the Armenian legionnaire played 187 official matches in Inter's shirt, scoring 12 goals and providing 21 assists. As for the recent 2025/26 season, it also turned out to be quite productive for a player of his age: the midfielder took part in 39 matches in all competitions, registering 4 goals and 3 assists.
