It's official: Carpathians have signed Nazarii Rusyn

Carpathians officially announced the signing of striker Nazarii Rusyn. The 27-year-old forward signed a 3+1 contract with the Lions. For Rusyn, this is a return to Lviv, because at one time he played for FC Lviv at the DUFL level, after which he continued his football studies at the Dynamo academy. The attacker made his debut for the main team of Kyiv in 2017, and later played on loan for Zorya, Legia, Dnipro-1 and Chornomorets. In 2022, Rusyn became a full-fledged player of the Luhansk club, where he managed to declare himself at the highest level. In September 2023, the Ukrainian was bought by the English Sunderland. He played 32 matches in all competitions for the Black Cats, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Later, Rusyn played on loan for Croatian Hajduk, and the forward's last club was Polish Arka. In the 2025/26 season, the attacker played 25 matches as part of Arka, in which he scored four goals. Rusyn also has experience playing for the youth and youth national teams of Ukraine, and in 2023 he received his debut call-up to the national team. Now the forward will continue his career in the Carpathians.
