Inter Milan have moved a step closer to signing Union Saint-Gilloise winger Anan Khalaili. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the Nerazzurri have reached a verbal agreement with the 21-year-old Israeli international and are now preparing to submit their first official bid to the Belgian club. Khalaili, who currently has a contract with Union until June 2028 (with a one-year option), is expected to sign a five-year deal through the end of June 2031. His market value is estimated at €23 million by Transfermarkt. The right-sided midfielder joined Union Saint-Gilloise in July 2024 from his boyhood club Maccabi Haifa, who received €6.5 million for the transfer. Since then, he has featured in 99 matches for Union, scoring eight goals and providing 11 assists. On the international stage, Khalaili has earned 16 caps for Israel but is still searching for his first goal or assist. Inter have been tracking Khalaili for some time and view him as a long-term investment for the right flank. A formal bid is expected in the coming days.
