Camavinga Determined to Stay at Real Madrid Despite Man City Interest, Says Source

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has no intention of leaving the Santiago Bernabéu this summer, according to club insider Mario Cortegana, who dismissed growing speculation linking the Frenchman with a move to Manchester City. “I asked my sources at the club about the Camavinga-Manchester City situation, and I was told again that he wants to remain at Real Madrid,” Cortegana reported. The journalist also revealed that the club’s hierarchy agrees with José Mourinho on the need to sign another central midfielder — but only after offloading current squad members. “The problem is nobody wants to leave,” Cortegana added. Camavinga joined Real from Rennes in 2021 for €31 million. During the 2025/26 campaign, the 22-year-old made 43 appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
