Maignan pushes for Chelsea move as Milan keeper eyes Premier League

AC Milan and France goalkeeper Mike Maignan is determined to leave Serie A and join Chelsea, according to journalist Matteo Moretto. The London club has revived its interest in the 29-year-old after initial talks earlier this summer fell through. Maignan is reportedly doing everything he can to make the switch to Stamford Bridge happen. Chelsea had targeted Maignan at the start of the summer window but were unable to finalize a deal. Now the Blues are back in the race, and the player himself is pushing hard for a transfer. Maignan joined Milan from Lille in 2021 for €16 million and signed a contract running until June 2031. This season he has played 41 matches across all competitions, conceding 38 goals and keeping 16 clean sheets.
