Brentford have officially announced a new contract for defender Michael Kayode, extending his stay at the club through the summer of 2032. The 21-year-old Italian has committed his long-term future to the Bees after an impressive first full season in English football. Kayode originally arrived at Brentford from Fiorentina on loan during the January transfer window last year, and the move was later made permanent. In the 2024-25 campaign, the versatile defender racked up 42 appearances across all competitions, scoring once and providing two assists.
