Morgan Rogers: '£130m? I'm not sure I'm worth that'

Aston Villa and England midfielder Morgan Rogers has broken his silence over reports that his club has slapped a £130 million price tag on him amid strong interest from Arsenal. The 23-year-old admitted he tries to block out the noise and doesn’t dwell on the numbers. “I’m not sure I’m worth that. It’s nice to hear things like that from people, but I don’t let the outside noise affect me. I just keep my head down, stay focused and be myself,” Rogers told The Guardian’s Ed Aarons. Earlier reports claimed Arsenal view Rogers as one of their primary summer targets, with a potential deal hovering around the £100 million mark. However, Villa are believed to value their attacking star even higher — at a staggering £130 million. Rogers’ 2025/26 campaign saw him feature in 55 matches across all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists. He is currently with the England squad preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
