Milan Futuro Appoints Sergio Navarro: Former Karpaty Lviv Boss Takes Charge of Rossoneri's Reserve Side

0
AC Milan have officially named 46-year-old Spanish coach Sergio Navarro as the new head coach of Milan Futuro, the club's reserve team competing in Serie D. Navarro is no stranger to Ukrainian football fans. His first senior managerial role came at Karpaty Lviv in 2017, though his spell lasted only a few months and yielded eight matches in charge. After leaving Ukraine, the Spaniard returned home to work as an assistant under Paco Lopez at Levante. He then spent three years (2022–2025) overseeing Athletic Club’s youth development system before taking over Hungarian side Debrecen last season. Milan Futuro finished fourth in Serie D’s 2025–26 campaign with 56 points from 34 games. Navarro now steps in to lead the Rossoneri’s second team into the next chapter.
