Juventus push for double swoop: Goretzka and Kolo Muani in focus
0
Juventus are stepping up their transfer business as the new season approaches. According to Sky Italia, the Bianconeri have re-established contact with Leon Goretzka, the 31-year-old German midfielder who is currently a free agent after leaving Bayern Munich.
Sources indicate that Goretzka has started actively weighing his options following Germany’s campaign at the recent World Cup. A move to Turin is emerging as a strong contender for the experienced international.
Last season, Goretzka made 48 appearances across all competitions for Bayern, scoring five goals and providing four assists. He also helped the club lift the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and DFL-Supercup.
While midfield reinforcement remains a priority, Juventus’s main focus this window is securing a goalkeeper and a center-forward. And it appears the forward issue is nearly resolved.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus have reached a substantial agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for striker Randal Kolo Muani. The deal is effectively done, although no official announcement has been made by either club.
Kolo Muani spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, where he played 41 matches, notching five goals and four assists.
Earlier reports also linked Juventus with other targets as they continue to reshape the squad.
