Brentford Close to Landing Burnley Winger Jaydon Anthony

Brentford have reached an agreement in principle with Burnley for the transfer of winger Jaydon Anthony, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. The 26-year-old Englishman is set to put pen to paper on a five-year deal at the Gtech Community Stadium. The fee is understood to be around £20 million (€23.3 million). Anthony would become the latest addition to a Bees squad that already includes Ukrainian midfielder Yehor Yarmolyuk. Last season, the winger turned out 38 times across all competitions, notching nine goals and two assists. The move is expected to be wrapped up in the coming days.
