Radu Drăgușin set for Fiorentina medical as Tottenham agree £16.5m deal

Radu Drăgușin is on the verge of leaving Tottenham Hotspur and returning to Italy. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Romanian defender will fly to Florence at the start of next week to undergo a medical with Fiorentina. Once that’s cleared, the transfer will be made official. The two clubs have already ironed out the financial details. Spurs will receive a package worth £16.5 million for the 23-year-old. Drăgușin joined Tottenham from Genoa in January 2024 for €25 million, but a serious injury limited him to just 12 appearances across all competitions last season. Before his move to the Premier League, Drăgușin played for Juventus, Sampdoria, Salernitana, and Genoa. Now he’s headed back to familiar territory, ready to don the purple of Fiorentina.
