Nottingham Forest Appoint Oliver Glasner as Head Coach

Nottingham Forest have officially announced the appointment of Oliver Glasner as their new head coach. The Austrian tactician takes over ahead of the new campaign, signing a deal with the Premier League side. The club highlighted Glasner’s reputation as one of Europe’s top coaches, praising his ability to develop players, build attacking teams, and deliver results at the highest level. Forest’s hierarchy believe his tactical approach and winning pedigree will drive the club’s ambitious plans forward. Glasner is only the third manager in history to win both the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League. Before his move to England, he guided Wolfsburg into the Champions League and led Eintracht Frankfurt to the Europa League title in 2021/22 — the club’s first European trophy in more than 40 years. His most recent role was at Crystal Palace, where in his first full season he won the FA Cup, followed by the FA Community Shield, and the following year secured the Conference League. Those achievements prompted Nottingham Forest to bring him in as their new head coach.
