Thibaut Courtois keeps adding to his World Cup legacy. The Belgian goalkeeper made his 20th appearance on the global stage in the Round of 16 at the 2026 tournament, pulling level with France's Hugo Lloris for second place all-time among goalkeepers. The 34-year-old now shares the milestone with Lloris, with only Germany's Manuel Neuer ahead of him. Neuer holds the record with 23 matches across World Cups.
