Canadian international Jonathan David is determined to remain at Juventus and prove his worth, even after a difficult first season in Turin. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the striker believes he can still earn a regular spot in the starting lineup. The Bianconeri, however, continue their search for a new frontman and are actively working on a transfer. The club has already secured the signing of young forward Jeff Ehator from Genoa. David’s high wages — around €6 million per year — are a major obstacle to any potential sale, limiting the number of clubs that could afford him. The Canadian arrived at Juventus as a free agent in the summer of 2025. Last season in Serie A, he managed just six goals in 35 appearances, marking the first time in his professional career that he failed to reach double figures in league goals.
