Bruno Guimarães agrees new long-term deal with Newcastle

Bruno Guimarães is staying at St. James' Park. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the Brazilian midfielder and Newcastle have reached an agreement on a new contract. The Magpies turned down interest from other clubs, including Arsenal, and decided to keep their star man. The new deal is set to run until the summer of 2031, extending his current contract which was due to expire in 2028. Last season, Guimarães made 41 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and adding eight assists. An official announcement is expected in the coming days.
