Brentford Sign Callum Wilson on a Free Transfer

Brentford have officially announced the signing of striker Callum Wilson. The 34-year-old Englishman joins the Bees as a free agent, putting pen to paper on a deal that runs until June 2027. Wilson spent the 2025/26 campaign with West Ham United, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in 32 Premier League appearances. Despite his efforts, the Hammers suffered relegation to the Championship — their first drop since 2011. Over his top-flight career, Wilson has netted 88 goals and registered 23 assists in 239 matches for Bournemouth, Newcastle United, and West Ham. He also lifted the EFL Cup with Newcastle in 2024/25. On the international stage, the forward has earned nine caps for England, scoring twice and adding one assist. He was part of the England squad that competed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
