Samir Nasri questioned in Paris over money laundering and drug trafficking case

Former France international and Premier League star Samir Nasri has found himself at the center of a major criminal investigation in his home country. According to French outlet Le Parisien, the 38-year-old ex-midfielder was taken into custody in Paris and held for approximately ten hours at a police station. He was questioned as part of a probe into an organized crime ring suspected of conspiracy, money laundering, and illegal drug trafficking. Following the interrogation, Nasri was released without any charges being filed. His legal status in the ongoing investigation remains unclear.
