Elversberg sign American winger Cole Campbell from Borussia Dortmund

Bundesliga newcomers SV Elversberg have completed the signing of 20-year-old winger Cole Campbell from Borussia Dortmund, the club confirmed on their official website. The American has put pen to paper on a deal running through the summer of 2030. Campbell spent the second half of last season on loan at Hoffenheim, where he made six senior appearances totaling 90 minutes of playing time. “From the very first talks with the club’s leadership, the conversations were very open and only became more positive as we went along. I have a feeling I’m joining an interesting squad with big potential, where I can fully develop my qualities. That’s why I’m sure this move to Elversberg is the right step for me. I’m really looking forward to meeting the team and starting this new chapter,” Campbell said.
