Barcelona Push to Lower Adeyemi Price Tag as Dortmund Hold Out for €40m

Barcelona are not willing to meet Borussia Dortmund’s €40 million valuation for Karim Adeyemi and believe they can strike a deal on more favorable terms. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Catalan club has made it clear they won’t go that high, and negotiations are expected to continue as both sides look for a compromise. Internally, Barcelona feel confident they can bring the price down significantly. The 24-year-old German winger has already agreed personal terms with the Blaugrana and has informed Dortmund that his priority is a move to Spain, sources say. Adeyemi sees Barcelona as the ideal next step in his career. Adeyemi’s current contract with Dortmund runs until the summer of 2027. He joined from Salzburg in 2022 and has since made 146 appearances, scoring 36 goals and providing 25 assists.
