Maksym Dyachuk joins Banik Ostrava on loan from Dynamo Kyiv

0
Ukrainian centre-back Maksym Dyachuk has officially swapped clubs for the upcoming season. Owned by Dynamo Kyiv, the defender has moved to Czech side Banik Ostrava on a one-year loan deal that includes an option for a permanent transfer. Dyachuk spent last campaign in Poland, also on loan, representing Lechia Gdańsk. He logged consistent minutes there, featuring in 28 matches across all competitions. The 21-year-old found the net once and provided two assists. Yet his efforts weren't enough to keep Lechia afloat — the club finished 16th in the Ekstraklasa and suffered relegation. Ironically, Dyachuk's new team faces a similar fate. Banik Ostrava also ended the previous Czech First League season in 16th place, meaning both the player and his temporary employers will compete in the second tier next term.
