Ederson's Move to Manchester United Collapses After Medical Tests

Brazilian midfielder Ederson’s high-profile transfer from Atalanta to Manchester United is officially off. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League side pulled out after the 27-year-old underwent additional medical checks in the UK. The two clubs had already agreed on the deal, but United changed course at the last minute. Atalanta, however, insists the player is in perfect condition and fully fit to play. The Serie A side welcomes their key midfielder back to the squad. Ederson is now heading back to Italy to continue training with Atalanta. His current contract runs until June 2027.
