Augsburg and Hoffenheim Reach Agreement for Behrens, but Deal Not Final

Florian Plettenberg reports that Augsburg and Hoffenheim have reached a full agreement for the transfer of 21-year-old left-back Hennes Behrens. The fee is set at €3.5 million plus add-ons, and Hoffenheim have included a sell-on clause in the deal. However, the move isn't completely finished yet — Augsburg still needs to agree personal terms with Behrens. That is expected to be sorted out in the coming days. Last season, the German youngster spent time on loan at Heidenheim, making 16 appearances, scoring once and providing two assists. He played the full 90 minutes in the memorable 3-3 draw against Bayern Munich.
