Galatasaray lodges official bid for Dynamo Kyiv striker Ponomarenko

Galatasaray have stepped up their pursuit of Dynamo Kyiv forward Matviy Ponomarenko. According to Turkish journalist Kagan Dursun, the Istanbul side have submitted a formal offer to the Ukrainian club. The proposal is understood to be a loan deal with an option to make the move permanent. Negotiators are now working through the terms of a potential agreement. Turkish media had earlier reported that Dynamo value the 20-year-old at around €30 million — a figure that could prove the biggest sticking point in reaching a deal.
