Barcelona Set Medical Date for Adeyemi

Barcelona are pressing ahead with their summer recruitment. According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Catalan club has scheduled a medical for Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi on July 15. The official presentation is expected to take place the following day, July 16. The two clubs had already reached an agreement for a €22 million transfer, with an additional €9 million in potential bonuses. Adeyemi’s own desire to move to the Camp Nou proved decisive in finalizing the deal. Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick also pushed for the signing, having worked closely with the German international during their time together with the national team. Adeyemi will become the second new arrival of the summer for the Spanish champions. Barcelona previously completed the signing of Anthony Gordon, paying €80 million for the English winger.
