Coventry City Complete Signing of Winger Luma Chauna from Burnley

Coventry City have officially announced the acquisition of French winger Luma Chauna from Burnley. The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal, with reports indicating a fee in the region of £20 million — though neither club has confirmed the exact figure. Chauna joined Burnley last summer from Lazio. In his solitary season with the Clarets, he made 32 appearances and scored three goals, but couldn't prevent the side from relegation. Prior to his move to England, he came through Rennes’ academy and also featured for Salernitana in Serie A. The former France Under-21 international expressed his excitement: “I’m really happy to start this new season in the Premier League. I feel good and ready for the challenge. I want to bring energy, determination and leadership. I’ve played in Ligue 1, Serie A, and now the Premier League — the best league in the world.” Coventry City begin their Premier League campaign on August 21.
