Real Madrid set all-time World Cup record for most goals by players from one club

0
Real Madrid have carved out a new piece of World Cup history. With Jude Bellingham's strike in the quarterfinal of the 2026 tournament, the tally of goals from Los Blancos' players at this edition reached 19 — the highest ever by a single club at a single World Cup. The previous mark of 18 was shared by three clubs: Hungary's Honvéd (1954), Bayern Munich (2014) and Paris Saint-Germain (2022). Kylian Mbappé leads the charge for Madrid's contingent with eight goals. Bellingham has six, Vinícius Júnior has four, and Turkish youngster Arda Güler has chipped in with one. Earlier reports suggested Norway had disputed Bellingham's goal, but that did not prevent the record from being officially recognized.
