Blenutse turns down Levadiakos move over wages, Dynamo Kyiv hold out for better terms

0
Dynamo Kyiv forward Vladyslav Blenutse has rejected a transfer to Greek side Levadiakos after failing to agree on personal terms, with the financial gap proving too wide to bridge. According to Greek outlet GSP, Levadiakos — now managed by former Shakhtar Donetsk boss Elias Charalambous — offered the 24-year-old a monthly salary of €16,000. That is significantly less than the roughly €40,000 he currently earns in Kyiv. While Blenutse was open to taking a pay cut, the proposal simply did not meet his expectations. The clubs are also at odds over the structure of the deal. Levadiakos wanted a season-long loan for 2026/27 with an option to buy for €800,000. Dynamo, however, are demanding a more favorable payment schedule and are willing to lower their asking price to €800,000 only if a larger chunk is paid upfront this summer. Interest in the striker doesn’t end in Greece. Spanish side Cádiz, Czech club Sigma Olomouc, and Polish pair Raków and Wieczysta are monitoring developments. Dinamo Bucharest had also shown interest earlier but have not made any fresh moves. Dynamo signed Blenutse for over €2 million last summer and are hoping to recoup a significant portion of that fee in the upcoming window.
