Official: Oleksandr Sukhov Joins Sporting Lisbon from HIT Kyiv

Ukrainian futsal international goalkeeper Oleksandr Sukhov has officially left HIT Kyiv to sign for Sporting Lisbon, the reigning futsal Champions League holders. The move was confirmed by the Ukrainian club, who thanked Sukhov for eight seasons of service. During his time at HIT, the shot-stopper established himself as one of the world's best goalkeepers and a cornerstone of the national team. “Our club thanks Oleksandr Sukhov for everything he did for HIT — for his incredible energy, hunger for victory, and dedication in training and matches. Together we won four Extraliga titles, the Super Cup, and the Ukrainian Cup. We wish the goalkeeper success at his new club and hope to meet again in the futsal Champions League,” the club said in a statement. Sukhov joined HIT in the summer of 2018 from InBev/NPU. Over eight seasons, he made 250 official appearances for the Kyiv side, scoring 25 goals — three of them in the futsal Champions League. Consistent performances on the international stage had long attracted interest from top European clubs. Now he will test himself at Sporting, a 19-time Portuguese champion and the current holder of Europe's most prestigious futsal trophy.
