Ajax are closing in on a formal bid for Roma striker Artem Dovbyk, with Italian sources reporting the Dutch side is ready to offer around €23 million for the Ukraine international. The Eredivisie giants, now managed by former Girona boss Míchel Sánchez, view the 29-year-old as a top target to bolster their attack. Roma are seeking a fee in that region and are prepared to negotiate. However, Ajax face competition from Genoa.
