Maxime Esteve Set to Join RB Leipzig in €32m Deal with Burnley

Burnley centre-back Maxime Esteve is on the verge of a move to RB Leipzig. According to Fabrizio Romano, all details of the transfer have been finalized between the two clubs. The Bundesliga side will pay €32 million including bonuses for the 24-year-old French defender. Esteve is scheduled to travel to Germany tomorrow for a medical and the official signing. Romano reports that a verbal agreement was reached last week, and the deal is now fully wrapped up. Last season, Esteve made 36 appearances for Burnley across all competitions. The Clarets finished bottom of the Premier League and were relegated from the top flight.
