Slaven Bilić Appointed Croatia Head Coach for Second Time

The Croatian Football Federation has officially named Slaven Bilić as the new head coach of the national team. The 57-year-old returns to the role after a 14-year hiatus, marking his second stint in charge of the Vatreni. Bilić previously managed Croatia from 2006 to 2012. During that period, he led the side to two European Championships, reaching the quarterfinals at Euro 2008, and also guided them to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Following his initial spell with the national team, Bilić took the helm at several clubs, including Lokomotiv Moscow, Beşiktaş, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion, Beijing Guoan, Watford, and Al-Fateh. Now he returns to international management, tasked with preparing Croatia for upcoming major tournaments.
