Gabriel Eskinya sidelined with shoulder injury after friendly

Zorya Luhansk defender Gabriel Eskinya picked up an injury during a winter training friendly against Czech side Slovacko, which ended 1-2. The 23-year-old Austrian suffered a shoulder problem. A scan confirmed the damage is not severe, but Eskinya is expected to miss at least a week before returning to individual training. Eskinya joined Zorya in the summer of 2024. Last season he made 14 appearances for the club, registering two assists.
