Chelsea secure Wigan prodigy Bettoni on free transfer until 2030

Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign 18-year-old attacking midfielder Harrison Bettoni, with the youngster set to join on a free transfer from Wigan Athletic. The news was broken by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Despite leaving Wigan as a free agent, Chelsea will pay a compensation fee for Bettoni’s development in line with Premier League rules.
