RB Leipzig Extend Gruda’s Loan – Buy Option Inserted for Next Summer

RB Leipzig have officially announced that Brajan Gruda will stay with the club for another season. The German winger’s loan from Brighton has been extended until the end of the 2026/27 campaign, with a purchase option reportedly set between €25 million and €30 million next summer. The 22-year-old first joined Die Roten Bullen on a temporary deal in February 2026. During the second half of last season he made 14 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing three assists, quickly earning a regular role in the squad. Before moving to Brighton in the summer of 2024, Gruda played for Mainz. He has made 45 appearances for the Premier League side. Leipzig confirmed the player has already reported back and will begin preparations for the new season with the rest of the team.
