Barcelona Completes Signing of Ecuadorian Prodigy Josue Caicedo

Barcelona have finalized the acquisition of Josue Caicedo, an 18-year-old talent from Ecuador, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. Romano reports that all parties have reached a full agreement, with the deal now completely wrapped up. The Catalan side sees Caicedo as a key piece of their long-term project and plans to develop him within the first-team setup. Before the move, Caicedo made eight appearances for LDU Quito in Ecuador. There had also been speculation that Barcelona were tracking another young prospect, Jesse Bisiwu, but no official move has materialized yet.
