Bayern Munich approach Jules Koundé’s camp, but Barcelona star prefers to stay

Bayern Munich have stepped up their pursuit of Barcelona defender Jules Koundé. According to Diario SPORT, the Bundesliga side recently made direct contact with the player’s representatives to sound out the possibility of a transfer. However, Koundé himself has no desire to leave Catalonia. The France international feels settled at Barcelona and is determined to continue his career there, with a contract running until the summer of 2030 giving the club no reason to sell. Last season, the 26-year-old featured in 47 matches across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing four assists. His market value stands at €61 million. Koundé is currently at the World Cup with France, having helped Les Bleus reach the semifinals.
